>From *Wharf Rats to Lords of the Docks - The Life and Times of Harry Bridges* - at the Pacific Resident Theater, 703 Venice Blvd. This is a one-person play starring Ian Ruskin as the great longshore labor leader, Harry Bridges. It's particularly timely since Bridges was an immigrant who the government tried more than once to deport. In spite of that, he built the most powerful, and democratic, union of our time.
